Pop Culture Festival Sets Return To Red Bank: See Details

The second annual event will be a day celebrating movies, comics, art, gaming and more.

RED BANK, NJ — A day celebrating movies, gaming, art and more is set for Red Bank when its Pop Culture Festival returns on Saturday.

Set to run from 12-4 p.m., the festival will take place on the Broadwalk, Broad Street and involved businesses in the borough.

The annual event is a day celebrating movies, gaming, comics, anime, art, music, toys and more, where attendees will be able to check out the vendors, gaming and art zones on Broadwalk.

In addition to vendors and games, the day will also feature:

  • A cosplay contest
  • The "Not Peek A Chew, Please Don't Sue" mobile game gym takeover to win prizes
  • Classic serials at the Basie Center Cinemas
  • Snacks from Coney Waffle & Ice Cream, Jersey Cookie Girl, Sally Boy's Pizza and more
  • Get a photo taken with the 1989 Batmobile
  • Tunes from DJ Khalil
  • Special guests, including Freddy Krueger body double Kevin Redzinski and the 501st Legion

In case of rain, the festival will take place on Sept. 26.
