For many years the band played inside the Taylor Pavilion on the Belmar Boardwalk but had to be relocated to Pyanoe Plaza after Hurricane Sandy destroyed the Pavilion and boardwalk.
Plans for the Taylor Pavilion to be rebuilt were completed and the Taylor Pavilion was constructed, with the band returning there in 2017.
John Luckenbill, Jr. is the conductor and manager of the band.
