RBC Presents "Shrek The Musical"!

RBC brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to life on stage. "Shrek The Musical" is a singing, dancing comedy extravaganza!

The Red Bank Catholic Performing Arts Department will be bringing the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to life on stage. From March 12th through the 15th RBC will present Shrek The Musical, the musical comedy based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks film Shrek.

The story is an epic adventure about finding love and staying true to one’s self. In a faraway kingdom where things are turned upside down, it is Shrek the ogre (RBC senior Timothy DiDomenico), not a handsome prince, who shows up with his loyal steed Donkey (senior Christopher Mallamaci), to rescue the beautiful, yet slightly tempermental, Princess Fiona (freshman Devlin Stark), from a fire-breathing lovesick dragon. Throw in a gang of fairytale misfits, the pint-sized Lord Farquaad (sophomore John Gnazzo), a biscuit with an attitude and you’ve got an all-singing, all-dancing musical comedy extravaganza!

The show is directed by Keith Gissubel, with musical direction by Shawn Mack and dance direction by Kelly Gemellaro.
