RBC to Promote Awareness Through Dance
On Friday, October 16th, RBC Dance Company will present the Breast Cancer Awareness Show, promoting awareness and early detection.
On Friday, October 16th, the Red Bank Catholic Dance Company will perform the Breast Cancer Awareness Show, an evening dedicated to each and every person who has in some way been affected by Breast Cancer, and to encourage early detection.
Through dance and song, performers will portray the stages of Breast Cancer and the strength a person needs to fight this devastating illness. There will be moving performances depicting the initial diagnosis, the struggle, and finally the stage of receiving help and support from friends and family.
The speeches and monologues throughout the show explain the facts about early detection and how it has saved so many lives. The show is choreographed by RBC’s Dance Director Mrs. Stacy Bascom and dance teachers Mrs. Kelly Gemellaro and Miss Rachel Wasser, as well as guest choreographers, Caitlin Krow (RBC Dance alumina) and Sarah Goodhue.

Once again, the RBC Dance Company will move the audience with their tremendous talent and their passion for dance while promoting awareness of a very important cause. They dedicate the show to anyone who has ever been affected by Breast Cancer, whether they have battled the illness themselves, or love someone who has –a mother, daughter, sister, friend, relative, co-worker, or friend.
Tickets are $10 and are available at the door the night of the performance. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to The Rose Foundation, which works to ease the financial strains associated with cancer so patients and their families can focus on the most important thing- beating the disease. The Rose Foundation helps inspire the courage, strength and confidence that patients need to fight.
