RBR Celebrates Opening Home Football Season with Pre-Game Picnic to Benefit the Source

On Friday, September 18, the RBR Buc Backer Foundation and The SOURCE join forces in sponsoring a pre-game, kick-off picnic at the first RBR home football game-- RBR Bucs versus Colts Neck Cougars. The event takes place from 5:30 till 7 pm and features picnic food, soft drinks, door prizes, raffles and more. The first 50 attendees receive free tickets to the game. A suggested donation of $5 per person per person will benefit The SOURCE, RBR’s School-Based Youth Services Program. The picnic takes place on the high school campus adjacent to the football field. RBR is located at 101 Ridge Road in Little Silver.

Buc Backer Foundation Co-President Patti Forsman states of the partnership event, “While the SOURCE has traditionally hosted this event, we hoped our collaboration could make it bigger than ever as a community outreach event and source of Buc pride. The Foundation greatly appreciates the efforts of the SOURCE whose mission is to “Remove all obstacles that impede a student’s academic success.”
