Prior to August 2012 I was severely obese. One day someone came up to me and said, "Alan, not only do you struggle to stand up and move around, you want to see your kids grow up." Don't ask me why, but that day it hit home. I had been suffering since my early twenties with arthritis in my knees. As I got older and did not exercise because of it, I got heavier and heavier.
According to research done by Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, there has been >600% increase in the last 30 years in cases of obesity due to arthritis and stress on the joints. Not only will weight loss make you feel better, it will help with your arthritic joints. That’s the reason to get healthy in 2014 if you have arthritis.
