Red Bank Borough PD Seeks Domestic Violence Response Volunteers
Red Bank PD is looking to expand its free and confidential service available to victims of domestic violence. No experience is required.
RED BANK, NJ - The Red Bank Borough Police Department is currently recruiting volunteers to aid in its domestic violence response team, a free and confidential service available to all residents.
The domestic violence nonprofit 180 Turning Lives Around will be conducting a mandatory 40-hour training course for new volunteers April 20 through May 13, Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays via Zoom. The course will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night.
Residents must be 18 years or older to apply, have access to transportation, possess a valid drivers license, be willing to serve on an on-call shift basis, submit to a background check and fingerprinting and attend a monthly supervisory meeting.

Bilingual capability is helpful but not mandatory. Prior knowledge of domestic violence is not required. The deadline to apply is April 9.
