Red Bank Bridge Work Nearly Complete, Officials Say

Detours that have been in place for months should be removed soon.

Replacement of the West Front Street bridge in Red Bank should be completed and the bridge reopened next month, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

Detours have been in place since January, but Monmouth County officials told the Asbury Park Press that the work is on schedule to be completed by mid-May.

Right now, motorists have been diverted along Rector Place, to Route 35, across Coopers Bridge and along Navesink River Road to Hubbard Avenue in Middletown to get through the area.
