RED BANK, N.J.— The Charter Study Commission will meet — virtually — at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday May 17, Deputy Borough Clerk Bonnie Thomas said.

She said the commission began meetings in January, since COVID protocols have been in place. Residents voted to establish the commission by a wide margin in last November's election.

According to the agenda posted on the borough website, the meeting Tuesday will include an elected officials forum with several representatives: Mayor Phil Kramer and Theodore Chase of Franklin Township, which has a Mayor-Council, Wards, staggered November partisan elections; Margaret Donlon and Robert Acerra of Ocean Township, which has a Council-Manager concurrent May nonpartisan elections form; and Dr. Anita Voogt of Long Branch, which has a Mayor-Council with concurrent May nonpartisan elections.
