Red Bank Farmers' Market To Open May 17
The Galleria farmers' market wants shoppers to order online, and strolling through will not be permitted: It's drive-through only.

RED BANK, NJ — The Red Bank farmers' market will reopen on May 17, the owners confirmed to Patch Wednesday.
The family-owned farmers' market, which is very popular in the area, traditionally opens on Mother's Day every spring. But the Sourlis family who owns it thought they would have to open much later this year until the coronavirus pandemic fully passed.
However, an opening date of May 17 is now scheduled, according to George Sourlis.

However, expect it to be very different this year: Most orders will have to be pre-ordered online in advance. (Nearly all New Jersey farmers' markets that are reopening are doing this, requiring shoppers to pre-order and pay online.)
There also won't be anymore casual strolling through the market: The market is not allowing anyone to walk or bike through. Drive through in and out is the only thing permitted.

"We have to do this," said Sourlis. "There is no way we can enforce social distancing otherwise. It is necessary."
The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The market is located at the corner of Bridge Avenue and West Front Street in The Galleria Red Bank parking lot. More info. about how to pre-order online here: https://www.redbankgreen.com/2020/05/red-bank-covid-farmers-market/
