RED BANK, NJ — A fire burned through a large private home in Red Bank Wednesday morning, and much of it was caught on video. The fire broke out in a home on Rector Place in Red Bank sometime between 8 and 9 a.m., said Dennis Fowler, the spokesman for the Middletown volunteer fire department.

Middletown, Red Bank and Shrewsbury fire departments all responded; Middletown was called in for back-up at 8:45 a.m., he said.

The home was being renovated and was unoccupied at the time. The fire reportedly sent plumes of smoke into the air that could be seen for miles.
