Red Bank Pair Indicted In DSW Thefts

The pair worked together to steal items from the shoe and accessories store in Eatontown, authorities say.

Two Red Bank residents have been indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on charges of theft and conspiracy in connection with a series of thefts from DSW in Eatontown from September through November 2014, according to court documents.

Kristie George, 41, and Nequan George, 26, both of Dr. James Parker Boulevard, were indicted in the incidents, with occurred over the course of several dates between Sept. 26 and Nov. 26, according to the documents.

According to the documents, Nequan George would go into DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) and select several items to purchase. He would then take them to the register where Kristie George was the cashier and she would ring up some of the items, but not all. Nequan George would then leave the store with all of the items, according to the indictment paperwork.

Among the items stolen were shoes, scarves, handbags, according to the indictment.
