Red Bank, Shrewsbury Elections 2017: Dems Win In Red Bank

RED BANK, NJ — An incumbent Democrat and his running mate were elected to two seats on the Red Bank Borough Council on Tuesday, while in neighboring Shrewsbury Borough, a pair of Republicans won election.

According to unofficial results, Edward Zipprich was the top vote-getter for the Red Bank Borough Council with 1,828 and was joined by Michael K. Ballard with 1,804. Ballard ousted Republican Linda Diane Schwabenbauer, beating her by nearly 700 votes.

In Shrewsbury, incumbent Republican Erik Anderson received 971 votes to win re-election, while Kimberly Doran Eulner, also a Republican, received 961. She will replace Tom Moran, whose term expired.
