Riverview On 'Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals In Nation' List

RED BANK, NJ — Riverview Medical Center, part of the Hackensack Meridian Health system, was recognized this month as the third most beautiful hospital campus in the nation.

This was determined in a national ranking of America's Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals, done by Soliant. Soliant, which provides specialized healthcare staffing services, conducts the contest annually. Winners are determined by nominations and votes from community members and staff.

Riverview received nearly 1 million votes, placing it third out of the 96 hospitals nominated this year.

Now in its 90th year of operation, Riverview Medical Center is a 492-bed not-for-profit community hospital located on the Navesink River in Red Bank. Riverview offers maternity care, surgery and cancer treatment and they have an ER. Riveview is perennially a popular choice for local moms to deliver their babies.

Pipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic in Pipestone, Minnesota came in first, and Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida came in second.

Riverview Rehabilitation Center is Monmouth County’s only fully-accredited inpatient rehabilitation facility, and Riverview Medical Center is a designated Primary Stroke Center.

There is also the Riverview Cancer Center and Riverview’s Jane H. Booker Women’s Center for the entire range of women's healthcare.

The Hackensack Meridian Health system is made up of 17 hospitals, stretching all the way from the top of New Jersey in Bergen County down to the shore in Ocean County.
