Window Smashed At Red Bank Vegan Cafe: Cops
"We were vandalized last night...but we will go on! Fear has no home here," the café wrote on social media Thursday morning.

RED BANK, NJ - A vegan and gluten-free establishment in Red Bank remains open Thursday after reportedly having a large rock smashed through its front window last night.
Red Bank Chief of Police Darren McConnell told Patch that the incident at Front Street's Good Karma Café "appears to be isolated" and that the police department has not received similar reports elsewhere.
"It was limited to criminal mischief, there was no apparent attempt to commit a burglary. There is no known motive and no arrests," McConnell said.

"We have incidents like this downtown a few times a year. More often than not it is either the result of a fight in the area and a window gets broken or someone who is drunk and disorderly strikes a window or throws something at it. In this specific case though, we really don't know what exactly occurred."
In a Thursday morning social media post, the account for Good Karma Café wrote that phone lines will open at 2 p.m. for curbside takeout despite the partly-shattered edifice:

“We were vandalized last night... it sucks but we will go on! Fear has no home here,” the café wrote. “We will survive, see you for lunch @karma2gonj and we’ll open the phone lines at 2:00 o’clock for curbside takeout. Time to get cooking! We have a giant window to replace!”
