Jersey Shore Shooting Under Investigation
The shooting occurred on Monday night on Catherine Street between Shrewsbury and Leighton Avenues, authorities said.
RED BANK, NJ — Authorities are investigating after a shooting took place on Catherine Street on Monday night, Red Bank officials said.
In an emergency alert sent to borough residents at 7:16 p.m. on Monday, authorities advised of the shooting incident that took place on Catherine Street between Shrewsbury Avenue and Leighton Avenue.
According to a report from RedBankGreen, an unknown gunman fired shots at a person in the front yard of a home on Catherine Street.

The gunman struck a car and at least one house, though no one was injured, RedBankGreen reported.
In the emergency alert, borough officials said they believe the matter to be an isolated incident with no immediate danger to the community at this time.

The incident is under investigation, officials said.
