Shrewsbury Twp. Man Touched, Exposed Himself To Teen Boy: Police

The man lured the boy into his apartment and then touched him sexually, police said.

SHREWSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A Shrewsbury Township man is facing multiple charges after police say he lured a teenage boy into his apartment and exposed himself to the boy.

Roosevelt Parker Jr., 54, of Crawford Street, was arrested July 7, according to the criminal complaint released by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

The incident occurred July 5, according to the complaint. Parker is accused of enticing the 15-year-old boy into coming into his apartment, the complaint says, where he then caressed the boy's back and exposed his genitals to the boy.

Parker is charged with enticing, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the complaint.

He remains at the Monmouth County Correctional Facility, Freehold Township, in lieu of $250,000 bail, according to jail records.
