Sobriety Checkpoint In Shrewsbury Friday Night
Drivers on southbound Route 35 will be diverted to Avenue of the Commons from Friday night into early Saturday morning.
SHREWSBURY, NJ —Friday night in Shrewsbury, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, there will be a sobriety checkpoint on Route 35, conducted by the Monmouth County DWI Task Force.
All southbound vehicles on Route 35 will be diverted into the Avenue of the Commons office center.
Members of the Task Force will work alongside local officers on both nights to check drivers for sobriety, according to Chief Michael Schneider, Allenhurst, Monmouth County DWI Task Force coordinator.
