Tower Hill Supports Lunch Break’s Holiday Toy Program

Tower Hill School Students collect 100+ books for Lunch Break

Red Bank, NJ, January 2017 - Families from Tower Hill School in Red Bank, NJ came together to support Lunch Break’s Holiday Toy Program, an annual event hosted by Tower Hill Church members in conjunction with Lunch Break and local community volunteers. The program serves as an outreach to community families in need and provides holiday gifts and toys to newborns thru age 15.

During the first two weeks of December students from Tower Hill School collected 129 books which were added to other generous donations from the local community. During the event, Webster Hall at Tower Hill Church was turned into a shopping center where parents could choose presents, books, school supplies, and stocking stuffers for their children.

“At Tower Hill, we are always looking for different opportunities to help our local community and to teach our children about the importance of giving,” said Lindsey Larkin, Tower Hill School Board President. “Collecting books allowed us to spread the joy of reading to others in the community, reinforce messages around giving with our children, and discuss how reading is a hobby that can be shared with everyone.”
