Town-Wide Yard Sale Set For Red Bank On Sept. 10
Red Bank residents can register for a town-wide yard sale Sept. 10 that will benefit the Red Bank Public Library.

RED BANK, NJ — A town-wide yard sale to benefit the Red Bank Public Library will take place Saturday, Sept. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the borough is encouraging residents to register for the event.
Those who want to participate need to register with the borough. The cost is $10, with all funds benefitting the Red Bank Public Library, which is the sponsor of the event.
Apart from the yard sale, the library will hold a book sale in conjunction with the sale. People can bring in a grocery bag and fill it with books or other items for sale for $5, said Linda Hewitt, in charge of outreach for the library.

The registration will include descriptions of items for sale, along with each address so any high-demand items you may want to sell should be noted so buyers know where to go for old LPs or other specialty items.
This year, those without yards will be able to participate. The library will be offering limited spaces in its front yard to apartment-dwellers who wish to join in. They must bring a table and register as well.
The rain date is Sept. 11.
Once registered, participants will receive an email on Sept. 8th with important information regarding bulk trash pick up organizations that will take donations and regarding traffic precautions.
The borough asks that participants register before the end of the day on Wednesday, Sept. 7, so the borough can include your stop on the map. All registrations received after that date are not guaranteed to appear although borough will attempt to accommodate everyone. You can also register in person and pay the $10 registration fee at the Red Bank Public Library, the borough said.
