Get a sneak peek of the nonstop fun-filled activities in store this fall for students at Small Factory! On Wednesday, September 4, 4–6 p.m. at 560 River Road in Fair Haven, the Emmy-Winning arts studio will host a Back to School Open House showcasing its classes in the arts, acting, music and technology. Classes begin the week of September 16.

Instructors will explain the studio curriculum and rewards program with parents, while children and young adults record original songs; build LEGOS® inspired by their imagination; explore their inner actor in improv; create computer animations on the studio's new iMacs; and dance and sing in Me and Momma Rock.

Trial New Social Skills Software

A highlight of the day will be the launch of Small Factory's new proprietary software being used in Social Skills classes in partnership with Bernadette Mullen MA, CCC-SLP of Speech Start. The software is one of the most revolutionary methods of teaching social skills nationwide.

Children use real time animation software to engage in social dialogue and learning. They control their characters with video game controllers and microphones to make their animated characters talk when the children talk. It’s a live social avatar for kids! Help your child to overcome any obstacles holding him or her back from enjoying happy and healthy relationships with teachers, classmates, parents, siblings and friends at this new and exciting class.

The Open House is free to attend but preregistration is requested by calling the studio at (732) 212-1088. Enroll in a fall class at the Open House and receive 20% off tuition.
