Upscale Coffee Shop Expands To Red Bank

Prep Coffee is opening its second location in Red Bank.

RED BANK, NJ — Coffee fans, rejoice.

Prep Coffee is opening its second location in Red Bank, according to a Facebook post from the company.

The new location will be housed at 95 Broad St, taking the place of Great Harvest Bakery Cafe, which permanently closed in Feb. 2022. "Though we have made it through the worst of the pandemic we have decided to wait out the rest of the pandemic, labor shortages, inflation and economic uncertainty," the company said in a social media post.

"We currently have a coffee shop in Old Bridge and could think of no better place to open a second location than Red Bank. Red Bank is a lively and energetic area where families and friends could spend all day and eat, and shop and enjoy and we want nothing more than to be a part of that," Rivera said.

Prep Coffee's mission is to create an environment where inclusion and community take priority "one coffee cup at a time."

Menu offerings include breakfast staples such as avocado salmon toast, a breakfast BLT, ricotta pancakes and a Cuban sandwich. Rivera said, "Our specialty drink is a Peanut Butter latte and it's out of this world so we're most excited to bring that to the Red Bank area."
