Volunteer Opportunities at the Red Bank Corps

The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps offers plenty of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, schools, organizations and businesses that are looking to make a difference and DO THE MOST GOOD.

With a beautiful building to maintain and plenty of programs, there is always a need to fill at any time of the year. Some volunteer roles are ongoing and needed throughout the year, while others are seasonal and dependent on time specific events. Either way, your time volunteering at the Red Bank Corps helps us carry our mission: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Onsite volunteer opportunities include:

· Receptionist/Front Desk

· Food Pantry Assistants

· Freezer Assistants

· FoodBank Delivery Receivables (once a month)

· Landscaping/ Grounds Keeping

· Children’s Program Assistant

Seasonal:

· Thanksgiving and Christmas Client Intake (bilingual a plus)

· Toy Sorting

· Food Box Preparation (during National Family Volunteer Day)

· Food Sorting (during the Rotary’s Can-a-Thon)

· Annual Red Kettle Classic Event Assistants

· Annual Trombone Night Event Assistants

Offsite volunteer opportunities include:

· Food drive coordinator (anytime during the year)

· Angel Tree Tag Donor (seasonal)

· Adopt-A-Family Donor (seasonal)

· Red Kettle Ringer(s) (seasonal)
