Wardell Park To Open In Tinton Falls With Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The new recreational facility - which will feature the county's largest pickleball court, among other attractions - opens Wednesday.

TINTON FALLS, NJ - Monmouth County’s newest recreational park is slated to open this week with a grand opening ceremony, officials said.

Tinton Falls’ Wardell Park, a newly-constructed outdoor recreational facility, will debut with a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 30 at 5:30 p.m., according to a borough announcement. The new park will feature tennis and basketball courts and a playground, as well as Monmouth County’s largest pickleball court.

Borough and county officials will be in attendance, including Tinton Falls Mayor Vito Perillo and members of the Tinton Falls Borough council.

The project was partially funded by NJDEP Green Acres and Monmouth County Open Space grants.

Wardell Park is located at 230 Wardell Road just south of Appaloosa Run.
