Water Main Repairs In Shrewsbury Could Affect Water Pressure
New Jersey American Water will be performing water main repairs in Shrewsbury on Sycamore Avenue and Beech Tree Lane.
SHREWSBURY, NJ — Water main repairs will take place in Shrewsbury on Wednesday, April 27, New Jersey American Water announced.
The construction is expected to last until 6 p.m., and it will affect Sycamore Avenue and Beech Tree Lane. Residents in the affected area may encounter discolored or cloudy water, as well as low or no water pressure.
Repairs are expected to take around nine hours to complete.

Customers may notice discolored water when water service is restored, according to New Jersey American Water. If your water is discolored, run only the cold water faucets on the lowest level of your home for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the water runs clear.
“We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue,” New Jersey American Water said.
