Water Service Restored After Utility Work In Red Bank
Parts of Spring Street in Red Bank had water shut off for a utility project; residents should run water until it's clear, borough says.
RED BANK, NJ — The work being performed on the Spring Street water main Tuesday has been substantially completed and water service was restored before 1 p.m., the borough reported.
Residents in the area should run water from multiple faucets for several minutes until it is running clear. If a discoloration persists, contact public utilities at 732-530-2770, the borough said.
A borough contractor was performing water utility work on Spring Street on Tuesday, beginning 7:30 a.m. This work included the replacement of valves and the replacement and relocation of a fire hydrant.

Residents impacted with water disruption were located from approximately 251 Spring St. to 316 Spring St.
In addition, the roadway was closed to through traffic and some temporary parking restrictions were in place.
