RED BANK, NJ (May xx, 2018) – Monmouth Day Care Center, the Red Bank, NJ-based non-profit institution that has been offering quality childcare for nearly 50 years, is hosting its 5th annual Whiskey & Wine Tasting Fundraiser to convene the local community around the importance of offering young children a safe, stimulating, and encouraging environment.

This event is being held at The Rink at Navesink Country Club at 50 Luffburrow Lane in Middletown, NJ, at 7:00pm EST on Friday, June 1, 2018. Guests are encouraged to wear “comfortable, dressy dancing digs” and enjoy the beautiful views while relaxing with a drink.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting https://wwt2018.bpt.me/.

“This year’s Whiskey & Wine Tasting Event is going to be a really fun evening focused on energizing our community around our mission of quality childcare,” said Heidi Zaentz, Executive Director of Monmouth Day Care Center and host of the event. “What has typically been a quieter, more private fundraiser in the past has transformed into a more lively and interactive event this year, filled with golf-themed games, corn hole, giant Jenga, and other activities for guests to enjoy while supporting our great organization.”

Guests will be able to support Monmouth Day Care Center by texting in their donation or pledge at any-time during the event. There will be a real time thermometer showing the donations progress.

The evening – one of two major fundraisers each year held by MDDC – will feature wines from around the world and different aged whiskies that are provided by Opici Family Distributing, and a specialty signature cocktail sponsored by Brinley Gold Rum, of the Atlantic Highlands. The Docs of Rock, a Monmouth County-based band that is dedicated to giving back to the community and sharing their love of music with the world, is headlining the entertainment for the evening.

Zaentz continued, “We are unwavering in our decades-long, steadfast mission of delivering high quality childcare for young kids to be able to thrive and develop during their first years in school. There is nothing more important, in our minds, than providing our community with a safe and stimulating place for their children to be nurtured and challenged, and to flourish as an individual at his or her own pace.”

The major event sponsors include Two River Community Bank and Hudson Wealth Management.

This event is 21+ and open to the media.
