International body image activist Taryn Brumfitt became a household name in 2013 when she posted a photograph of herself naked on the internet. What followed was an international media frenzy, which lead Taryn to write, produce and directed her first feature documentary EMBRACE.

EMBRACE is told from Taryn’s point of view as she traverses the globe talking with body image experts, women in the street and well-known personalities such as Ricki Lake, Mia Freedman, Amanda de Cadenet, German actress Nora Tschirner and celebrity photographer Jeffrey Madoff about the alarming rates of body image issues that are seen in people of all body types.

“I heard about EMBRACE while researching some topics I wanted to write about regarding loving and taking care of your body and knew I needed to bring this film to my community. When I didn’t see a screening scheduled in my area I signed up to host one…I really want people to see this film and feel comfortable in having the conversation about their bodies in an empowering and supportive event like this.” ~ Danielle Woolley, EMBRACE Gathr Movie Captain and President of FemCity® Monmouth County.

“Peach’s vision is to assist women in feeling strong and beautiful in your own skin, so I had to be a part of bringing this important message to the women and daughters in our community.” ~ Debbie Downie, CEO at Peachy Perfect and Executive Director of Two Rivers Women in Business Consortium.
