SEA-CON, a fun, affordable, and family-friendly event for comics, toys and nostalgia fans of all ages, takes place Saturday May 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sea Bright Community Center.

SEA-CON invites attendees to step into a world of imagination and relive childhood memories. The indoor event will feature a vibrant mix of guests, artists, writers, creators, vendors, crafts, cosplay groups, and more.

Visitors can browse a wide selection of comic books spanning the Golden Age to today, along with trading cards, retro and modern toys, collectibles, and handmade crafts. Cosplay enthusiasts and families alike will enjoy interactive experiences with iconic characters including Star Wars heroes, Batman, The Mandalorians, and Power Rangers—complete with photo opportunities and action-packed encounters.

Special guests include Travis Artz, the voice of Hot Rod from Transformers, and Mark Voger, a well-known artist and author, both of whom will be on hand to meet fans and share their work.

Also appearing is well known Artist JEFF BRENNAN, a legendary comic book artist and creator! Best known as the writer and artist of Cyber Girl Leeta, Jeff's other credits include storyboards and design for Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dragon Tales, and Extreme Ghostbusters as well as inking on Deathstroke the Terminator and penciling on Bart Simpson Comics as well as the set art on Big Bang Theory.

Also come meet Hannah Chapin, a voice actress working in the indie scene on animations and games. She is mainly known for her work on indie series’ such as Neles in Heretical Tavern, Atlantica in Monkie Wrench, and Mona in Off World Retrievers!

Admission is just $3, with free entry for children 10 and under accompanied by a paying adult. Free parking is available for all attendees.

SEA-CON is currently seeking vendors. Those interested in participating are encouraged to bring their own tables and chairs and showcase comic books, trading cards, toys, crafts, or collectibles.
