Details were revealed after one person was killed by a train on Tuesday, temporarily suspending N.J. service, officials say.

Details were revealed and the victim was identified after a man was killed by a train on Tuesday, temporarily suspending service in New Jersey.
Silvano Vasquez-Martinez, 40, who was homeless was killed when he somehow was hit by an eastbound, New Jersey-bound train at 6:03 a.m., authorities said.
The accident happened on the New York side of the state line, between the Spring Valley and Nanuet stations, according to the MTA.

Service on the Pascack Valley Line was suspended in both directions because of the fatality near, according to NJ Transit. Service has since resumed.
NJTransit bus and private carriers were accepting NJT rail tickets.

The man was hit around 6 a.m. Train 1604 departed Spring Valley at 5:53 a.m. and was due in Hoboken at 7:07 a.m.
