10 In Ridgewood Among Top Doctors in NJ

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Several village doctors were named to New Jersey Monthly's "2017 Jersey Choice list of the state's 1,117 Top Doctors."

The top Ridgewood doctors, and what field of medicine they specialize in, are:

• Douglas G. Avella, Pediatrics, Orthopedics
• George Becker, Emergency Medicine
• Joshua W. Bernheim, Vascular Surgery
• Daniel Jay Char, Vascular Surgery
• Jennifer Anne Cope, Pediatrics, Neurology
• Anthony L. D'Ambrosio, Neurological Surgery
• Peter H. Lee, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine
• Frank P. Manginello, Neonatology
• Carol Sotsky, Infectious Diseases
• Gerald Sotsky, Cardiovascular Disease

New Jersey's 1,117 top doctors represent 73 medical specialties. New Jersey Monthly commissioned a survey by Leflein Associates, a research firm in Ringwood. Leflein Associates mailed a questionnaire to every doctor licensed in New Jersey for at least five years.

After a preliminary list was drawn up, doctors on a panel were chosen from among the top vote-getters in last year's survey to make the final selections for this year's list.
