2 Injured In Rollover Crash On Parkway In Bergen County: Police

Two drivers were taken to the hospital after a rollover crash on the Garden State Parkway Tuesday night.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after their cars collided on the Garden State Parkway, forcing one to overturn, police said.

State police responded shortly after 10 p.m. to the two-car crash near milepost 169 in Woodcliff Lake, police said.

Based on preliminary investigation, a Mercedes-Benz rear-ended a Jeep SUV, causing the Jeep to strike the center median and overturn.

Both drivers had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital, state police said.

The crash remains under investigation, and no more information is available, said State Trooper Christopher Postorino on Wednesday morning.

A lane of traffic was briefly closed after the incident, according to the Department of Transportation's 511NJ website, but it has since reopened.
