3 Ridgewood Candidates Pick Up Another Election Endorsement
Friends of Schedler is endorsing Jeff Voight, Ramon Hache, and Bernadette Walsh for election to the Village Council.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Another group of residents has endorsed Jeff Voight, Ramon Hache, and Bernadette Walsh for election to the Village Council in May.
Friends of Schedler, a grassroots organization of residents who live on the east side of Route 17 commonly called the Schedler Neighborhood, said that the three candidates would listen to residents concerns before deciding on important issues. The Concerned Residents of Ridgewood (CRR) made a similar statement on Wednesday regarding its reasoning for backing the same three candidates.

A number of members from the neighborhood observed and evaluated the six candidates in this year’s election, the group said in a statement Thursday.
“These candidates provided independent voices, but they have demonstrated that they will run a government of inclusion, not just on the Schedler issue, which impacts our neighborhood, but on all of the issues that impact the entire village,” the group said.

Village officials are considering installing a baseball diamond on a seven-acre area of open space.
“Jeff, Ramon, and Bernadette provide an honest, pragmatic, and hopeful insight into our community’s problems and needs,” the group said. “Their willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns sets them apart from the other candidates’ expected techniques and decisions.”
