5,000 Without Power In Bergen County, Delays On Highways
Breaking: The storm that whipped through North Jersey Tuesday is making life difficult for people Wednesday morning.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — More than 5,000 people were without power Wednesday morning after a brief, but powerful storm blew through Bergen County and North Jersey.
PSE&G reports that nearly 4,700 customers were still without power. The major outages are in the following municipalities:
- East Rutherford: 680
- Ho-Ho-Kus: 532
- Paramus: 515
- Washington Township: 402
- Saddle Brook: 392
- Ridgewood: 367
Nearly 200 people were without power in Haworth and more than 100 in Demarest, Orange & Rockland reported.

The morning commute Wednesday was slow going through Bergen County.
Heavy delays were reported on Route 208 in Wyckoff, at and approaching the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, on Route 17 southbound between Route 4 in Paramus and Central Avenue in Rochelle Park, Interstate 80 westbound between exits 61 and 58, and on the Palisades Interstate Parkway, all due to volume, according to the state Department of Transportation.
