5 High Schools In Bergen County Make Top 25 In New Jersey: U.S. News
Several Bergen County high schools rank among the best in the country, US News said. How did schools do in Ridgewood, Wyckoff and more?

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Where does your local high school rank? Recently, U.S. News & World Report ranked the best public high schools in New Jersey as well as the best in the country, releasing the results on Tuesday.
Among the top 100 high schools in the country, two from Bergen County made the grade: Bergen County Academies came in at 84, and Bergen County Technical High School came in at 88.
But those are countywide schools. How did regular public high schools do?

Three of those were highly ranked as well, showing up in the top 25 in New Jersey, if not the top 100 in the country.
U.S. News looked at math, reading, and science assessments, as well strong performance among under-served students, graduation rates, and college readiness.

How Did Your School Do?
Glen Ridge, Tenafly, and Northern Valley Regional were the three other Bergen County districts that made it into New Jersey's top 25.
Other notables:
- Ridgewood High School was 37th in the state and 764 nationally.
- Mahwah High School was 50 in New Jersey and 1,009 nationally.
- Ramapo High School was 74 in New Jersey and 1,226 nationally.
- Indian Hills High School was 82 in New Jersey and 1,747 nationally.
