50,000 Pounds Of Produce Donated To 30 Bergen County Agencies

The Bergen County Food Security Task Force spearheaded the distribution of 50,000 pounds of produce to agencies across the county.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The Bergen County Food Security Task Force has struck again, this time donating 50,000 pounds of produce to 30 agencies across the county, Bergen County Commissioner Tracy Silna Zur announced this week.

The distribution, done in partnership with The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, also included help from volunteers with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, and the New Jersey Department of Corrections Officers.
