BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — There are many ways to get an education. But if you're curious to know which New Jersey towns have the highest percentage of college degree-holders, you won't have to look far.
Five out of the 20 towns with the highest percentage of degree-holders are in Bergen County, says a recent report in NJ.com, using Census figures.
In Ridgewood, which came eighth on the list, 85.2 percent of adults hold degrees.
Other Bergen County towns in the top 20 are Tenafly at 13, Ho-Ho-Kus at 15, Franklin Lakes at 17, and Englewood Cliffs at 20. First on the list was an Essex County zip code — Short Hills, with 93.5 percent. See the full list here.
