LITTLE FALLS, NJ — A Little Falls man was arrested last week for sexually assaulting a child, prosecutors said.
Marvin A. Nugra Ruiz, 37, was charged with sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child, said Bergen County Prosecutors.
Prosecutors said that on April 10, the Moonachie Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual assault.
After a month-long investigation, detectives determined that Nugra Ruiz tried to sexually assault a female juvenile victim
inside a Moonachie home. They also determined that he committed criminal sexual contact with the same girl between January 2025 and February of this year, in Little Falls.
Nugra Ruiz was arrested in Paramus and charged with second-degree sexual assault, two counts of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and three counts
of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
