Funeral Planned For Recent Ridgewood High School Graduate Who Died Abroad

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Services have been announced for a recent Ridgewood High School graduate who recently passed away.

"It is with sympathy for all who knew her that we share the funeral details for Alisa Kizis, RHS Class of 2026," said a social media post from the Ridgewood public schools on Monday. "Alisa was visiting family overseas when a known heart condition resulted in a heart attack."

The post said that Kizis would have attended Boston University in the fall.

She intended to study data science, says an earlier post from the school community.

The funeral will be held Saturday in Hawthorne. Details are here.
