BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Fans of comedian Adam Sandler posted giddy videos on Wednesday after they got to meet the star in Ridgewood, where he was filming a scene for "Grown Ups 3."
Sandler — the former "Saturday Night Live" cast member who has produced and starred in more than a dozen films — has been living in Short Hills while filming the sequel, NJ Monthly reported.

"Grown Ups 3" will star comedians including Chris Rock and Kevin James.
This summer, Sandler and crew have been seen in towns including Madison, Morristown, and Cranford.
Reports from Hoboken Girl said cast members have been spotted at various downtown Hoboken restaurants.
On Wednesday, Bergen County residents gushed about the kindness of Sandler and crew.
"I didn't think I'd be grabbing a coffee and seeing Adam Sandler in Ridgewood today," posted one fan.
Ridgewood township spokeswoman Carol Bialkowski confirmed the cast was in Ridgewood on Wednesday, largely on East Ridgewood Avenue in the Central Business District.
"Ridgewood has become an attractive location for filming," said Village Manager Keith Kazmark. "The charm and location of the community make it a great place to do this work. The Village and our Police Department work closely with producers to create an inviting and welcoming experience for the entire cast and crew."
Kazmark added, "We look forward to continuing to work with major film companies here in Ridgewood."
Sandler was also spotted in Hoboken last year while filming "Roommates" on upper Washington Street.
