KEARNY, NJ — A Kearny man was arrested Wednesday for criminal sexual contact with a child in Bergen County, officials said.
Victor A. Fujimoto Diaz, 63, was charged with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that on Monday, the New Jersey Division of Child Protection & Permanency Victims Unit regarding alleged sexual contact with a juvenile in North Arlington.
An investigation determined that Diaz "engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile" last month.
Fujimoto was arrested in North Arlington and taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court.
