Annual Fred D'Elia Ridgewood Run Is Memorial Day

The 40th annual Fred D’Elia Ridgewood Run will be held on Monday at Veterans Memorial Field.

The annual event draws thousands of participants from the North Jersey area. Organizers bill the event as the premier road race in North Jersey.

There will be several races held:

• Wheelchair 10K: 8:15 a.m.
• 10K: 8:20 a.m.
• 5K: 10:15 a.m.
• Women’s Mile: 11:15 a.m.
• Men’s Mile: 11:40 a.m.
• Ridgewood YMCA Fun Run (one mile): noon
