Another Round Of Bergen County School Delays Wednesday; More Snow Coming Friday

Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Mahwah, and several other towns announced delayed openings for Wednesday. Here's what they said in their messages.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — After more than 2 inches of snow fell across North Jersey on Tuesday, several schools in Bergen County announced delayed openings. And thanks to the weather, they've announced another round of delays for Wednesday.

Icy conditions and temperatures in the 20s — with wind chills as low as 10 degrees — are forecast for the morning commute.

Several schools had messages similar to this from Ridgewood: "Due to the very low temperatures forecast for this evening into tomorrow morning and the associated freezing of the roads and sidewalks, all Ridgewood Public Schools will operate under the delayed opening schedule."
