Glen Rock Artisan Sale To Help Benefit Guatemalan Children

A special holiday artisan sale to help children in Guatemala will be held at Glen Rock Community Church Sunday.

Courtney Wong is hosting the event.

“I’ve been having this sale for seven years now and it’s always a great success to the many Glen Rock and local community members who come out,” Wong said in a Facebook post.

Proceeds from the sale will be donated to Limitless Horizons Ixil, a non-profit that helps the community of Chajul in Guatemalian highlands. The average income there is less than $2 a day and where residents have an average of two and a half years of schooling.

The sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
