Andy Krikun, Ph.D.

Acclaimed as the front man of Andy and the Rattlesnakes, Krikun has graced stages East (The Bitter End, the CBGB Music Festival), West (The Whisky-a-Go-Go, The Troubadour and the Roxy) and overseas (The Edinburgh Fringe Festival). LA Weekly called the Rattlesnakes “one of the great, lost, eclectic underground rock and roll bands.”

The April 18 concert will include many of Krikun’s friends, colleagues, former students and even his family. Among them, he will play an acoustic set with Sincerity, featuring Daisy Krikun and Jared Elder, a bluegrass-influenced set with members of the Cider Barn Boys and with alumni Divinity Montijo and Georgia Cassidy, known as Born to Blend.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
