Bergen County Man Gave Kid Alcohol, Sexually Assaulted Him: Prosecutor

HACKENACK, NJ — A 38-year-old man has been arrested in Bergen County for sexually assaulting a juvenile, to whom he gave alcohol, prosecutors said Friday.

Alfredo F. Ingasicha of Hackensack was charged last Tuesday with sexual assault by contact and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors said that on June 29, a Saturday, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Hackensack Police Department determined that Ingasicha endangered and sexually assaulted the juvenile in Hackensack on multiple occasions between Dec. 1, 2024 and this past Feb. 3.

"The investigation also revealed that Ingasicha provided the child with alcohol," prosecutors said.

He was arrested in Hackensack and charged with three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault by contact and wo counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, prosecutors said.

He was taken to the Bergen County jail, prosecutors said.
