BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — An Old Tappan man was arrested on Thursday for creating AI-generated nude images of two adults and posting them on the internet, prosecutors said.

Daniel G. Pfeiffer, 37, was charged with creating and distributing deceptive visual media, invasion of privacy, cyber-harassment, and harassment, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutors say that in May 2026, the Harrington Park police contacted the Prosecutor's Office regarding online social media posts depicting two adult victims.

Detectives searched Pfeiffer's home on Thursday and determined that he had created and distributed the images.

Pfeiffer has been arrested on similar charges in years past, including allegedly posting nude photos of a woman he knew in 2017, according to a previous Patch report.

He was taken to the Bergen County Jail on Thursday to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
