BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — After a cold Sunday, temperatures will rise all week, then clash with a cold front, forecasters say.

The National Weather Service says temperatures will surpass 80 in Bergen County on Wednesday.

"The first half of this week will feature a significant warm-up (some record warmth possible inland Wednesday), although a southerly wind off the chilly ocean will keep the coastal areas much cooler," the NWS said. "Some showers are possible, with the greatest chance for showers and some thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon and evening."
