Bergen County Restaurant Named Among Top 100 Nationwide For Food Lovers

French restaurant The Saddle River Inn, one of the most sought after places to eat in Bergen County, was named as one of the Top 100 Restaurants for Foodies in America for 2016 by OpenTable.

Located at 2 Barnstable Court, the BYOB restaurant bills itself as providing diners with a romantic experience in its rustic barn setting that serves upscale cuisine and desserts.

“Classic French cuisine with a contemporary flair is featured in a romantic, rustic, barn along the banks of the Saddle River,” OpenTable wrote.

The New York Times said the restaurant was “excellent” in its review last year. OpenTable also ranked the restaurant in the top 10 of Best Overall Restaurants in the tri-state area.

The Saddle River Inn is only open evenings and only hosts private events on Sundays and Mondays.
