Patch's Bergen County Summer Camp List: Sports, Theatre, Tech, Nature, And More

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — There's summer fun in every corner of Bergen County, with camps scheduled for pretty much anything a kid could want to do.

Young athletes, hikers, actors, artists, scientists, techies, and foodies will find opportunities to have fun and get to know people with the same interests. For those who don't know what they're interested in, or have several interests, there are enough unique opportunities around the county to keep kids of all ages entertained and inspired.

Patch put together a big list of Bergen County summer camps, sorted by location. There are a few camps that have more than one location. They are listed at the bottom of this page.

Many early bird discounts are gone, but plenty of camps have open registration.

Bergen County Summer Camps

Elmwood Park

No Days Off Summer Camp 2022

Ballet Arts, Emerson and River Edge locations

Description: Summer dance programs range by age, from beginning foundations for young dancers to an intensive camp for experienced dancers. Children 4-7 will be "introduced to an exciting world of creativity, movement and fun through dance." Dancers 8-10 will learn from Ballet Arts faculty who "provide excellent instruction while remaining sensitive to the developmental needs of younger dancers" and build a solid foundation in technique. The intensive course, for dancers 11-18, "begins with a ballet technique class and continues with a different discipline such as modern, contemporary, variation, pointe, Pilates, or yoga. Classes in nutrition, dance terminology, history and stage make up are also part of the summer curriculum creating a comprehensive summer dance intensive."
